There are currently 5.4 million American living with Alzheimer’s. There are at least 16 million worldwide. A love one is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in the US every 69 seconds.

There are 15 million unpaid care givers in the US. There are another 2 million who are paid.

There are a total of 25 million care givers in the US – - – and 98% are women.

There is no cure for Alzheimer’s. In fact, it is optimistically forecast that it will be 2025 (or later) before we can anticipate one.
